As a nation we are rightly proud of our service personnel operating around the world, the media feed us with news of our returning troops and the unquestionable acts of selfless gallantry of our servicemen and women. We can feel the swell of pride as we watch a group of well trained and disciplined men and women marching through their home towns and cities. We can also share in the sadness at the loss of the young lives who will not be marching home.

There is also a middle story which due to its very content does not get the attention it deserves. The stories and news articles here provide a deeper insight to the difficulties our service men and women have to deal with almost daily.
