PTSDhelp a web site dedicated to providing affordable alternative and complementary health care, treatment and advice for the service men and women of the UK, serving or retired who have already given so much.

To be able to reach the people we can help the PTSDhelp web site does not depend entirely on web search engines. What we do is far too important to be left to chance, or the keyboard skills of someone who may already not be thinking clearly about their difficulties. The best way to reach the people we can help is by direct advertising in specific publications which are relevant to the Army, Navy and Air force. The advertising revenue and donations made through the site fund the hosting maintenance and development of the web site, but the lions share goes directly towards the cost of promoting and advertising the web site within these publications. It would be cost prohibitive for each individual therapist to advertise their services within these publications, but as a collective we can reach a much wider audience. Not only the servicemen and women but also their immediate and extended family , It is a very simple philosophy if we all do a little a lot can be achieved listed below are some of the ways your practice or business can support the PTSDhelp web site on behalf of these men and women

The Therapist Directory

On the 20 February 2009 the PTSDhelp web site went live creating what is a unique step in the healthcare and treatment of our servicemen and women.
We are often told that we should do more for our servicemen and women by the powers that be, only then to be told we do not have sufficient funding or resources. www.ptsdhelp.co.uk aims to provide some of that resource at no cost to the MoD, NHS, local councils, social services or the myriad other agencies who are responsible for the care of these men and women.
www.ptsdhelp.co.uk will be developed into a directory of complementary and alternative health care providers who undertake to provide our services on a fixed fee basis.
PTSD responds well to most of the psychotherapeutic treatments Such as Hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT, EMDR, Clean Language, Cognitive therapy and many more and by adding the physical therapies such as acupuncture, reflexology massage etc. the scope for recovery is limitless.
The format for this project came after I began working with guys who had PTSD symptoms and who were brave enough to ask for help. As a former serviceman I am also aware that one big restriction they have is cost they may spend time looking for help but their perception is that private health care is expensive so they avoid it.
So as soon as a visitor descends on the www.ptsdhelp.co.uk web site looking for help they are advised of the single piece of information they need to ease a positive decision.
This is an opportunity to offer our therapeutic skills to a whole new client base that need help of some sort or another.
